Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. The service
Route13 provides access to aggregated financial data about European companies (revenue, EBITDA, contacts) via a web interface and REST API. By using Route13, you agree to these terms.
2. Data accuracy
Route13 aggregates data from public sources including government APIs, commercial registries and public databases. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but:
- Some EBITDA figures are estimates based on sector averages, not actual filed accounts. These are clearly flagged in the API response (
ebitda_is_estimated: true). - Data may be incomplete, outdated or contain errors from the source.
- Route13 is not liable for decisions made based on this data. Always verify critical information from primary sources.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Route13 data for lawful business purposes including research, lead generation, due diligence and product development.
You may not:
- Use the data to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam)
- Resell or redistribute raw Route13 data as a competing data product without a written reseller agreement
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer or extract data beyond your plan quota
- Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law
- Share API keys between multiple users or organisations
4. API usage and rate limits
API access is included with Pro and Business plans. Each call consumes credits from your account balance — 0.05 credits per company returned by the search endpoint, 1 credit per company returned by the detail endpoint (companies already unlocked are free). Rate limits: 100 requests per minute per API key, 1,000 requests per hour per IP. Exceeding rate limits returns 429. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the API.
5. Payment and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
- You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
6. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse or fail to pay. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except in cases of serious abuse.
7. Intellectual property
The Route13 platform, interface and compiled datasets are our intellectual property. Data sourced from public government registries remains in the public domain as per the applicable open data licences.
8. Limitation of liability
Route13 is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service or reliance on the data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
